We have all been hurt or betrayed at one time or another. The wounds of the past can last a lifetime, negatively impacting ourselves and others. As a result, unforgiveness can take root, keeping us disempowered, bound, stunted, isolated, and alone. By letting go of the past and embracing forgiveness and freedom through Christ, we can experience our heavenly future (Philippians 3:13-14). Forgiveness is not only a gift we extend to others; it's the most powerful gift we can give ourselves.
