SESSION 1
Overcoming Trauma • Dan Morehead

Abuse and adversity can mark us for life, changing our bodies and brains in ways that deeply effect our long term physical and emotional health. But trauma is not the end of our story, only the beginning. In this session, we will explore spiritual, mental, and physical ways of turning trauma into recovery, healing, and growth.

SESSION 2
Things That Everyone Should Know About Aging and Dementia • Dan Morehead

Old age awaits us all, and if we live long enough, we or someone we love will experience dementia. In this session, we will explore keys to successful aging, how to reduce our risk for Alzheimer’s and other dementias, and how to help people we love who deal with these illnesses.

SESSION 4
Grief: Our Pathway to Peace • Dan Morehead

Every life is filled with disappointments, failures, and losses. Learning how to grieve and accept these losses is the key to personal growth and maturity. This session invites you to a deeper appreciation of grief, and a way to work with the normal but painful emotions that lead us from loss to new life.

SESSION 3
What Your Pastor Really Wants to Say to You About Mental Health and Your Spiritual Life • Carol Morehead

When life goes off the rails, we often turn to the leaders in our faith communities in search of answers and comfort. Do you ever wonder what your pastor is thinking when you share these life challenges? Go behind the collar with Rev. Carol as we walk through some of the deep truths –  the good, the bad, and the miraculous – that pastors wish they could say more directly to the members of their flock in times of struggle, pain, and family crisis.
