Karen and Jim Covell

 

KAREN is an independent Producer of films, Specials and Documentaries, Founding Director of the Hollywood Prayer Network (HPN) and Co-Founder and Producer for JC Productions, an independent film and music production company.  She is also an active member of the Producers Guild of America and currently packaging a feature film. As Founding Director of HPN, Karen challenges Christians around the world to pray for the people, the projects and the issues in the world’s most influential marketplace, Hollywood.  She also speaks and teaches around the country on how to pray for the people in the world’s most influential mission field; the entertainment industry. She is a published co-author of three books, two with her husband Jim and their writing partner Victorya Rogers entitled How To Talk About Jesus Without Freaking Out (the young people’s version called “The J Bomb”) and The Day I Met God, and the devotional book Hollywood, Jesus and You. JIM is a composer and graduate of the University of Southern California with a BFA in Music Composition. His career began with the live action/animated series McGee & Me, after which he then he worked extensively with Ron Howard in television. He scored 50 episodes of Tom & Jerry for HBO Max, and two seasons of the worldwide Netflix hit series Beastmaster. He also recorded the score for the feature motion picture Left Behind with the London Symphony (choir conducted by the ubiquitous Dr John Sutton). Jim’s concert works and musicals are performed around the country. He is currently working on a 90-minute oratorio, “The Lynching of the Christ” for orchestra, chorus and gospel soloist, which compares the “crucifixion” to the “lynching” of 4000 African Americans. Learn more about Jim at jamescovell.com

The Covells’ two sons, Christopher and Cameron, are filmmakers in Los Angeles and New York City.

 

Katherine Warnock

KATHERINE is Vice President of Original Content for The Chosen, the acclaimed television series dramatizing the life of Jesus of Nazareth, and now preparing for seasons five and six. A senior-level strategist, Katherine holds a background in content, creative, marketing, and branding based leadership spanning film, television, digital, editorial, fashion, and social enterprise. She is a dual resident of the US and the UK and is passionate about positively affecting culture through purposeful, anchored, content-driven media.

Prior to this, she was senior director of content at MGM, and general manager at Darling Media. In addition to her media and creative gifts, Katherine also served as Director of Operations for Vintage Church in Los Angeles from 2014-2016

Shun Lee Fong

SHUN LEE is an actor, writer, director, and CEO and creative principal of Genuine Productions, LLC, focusing on film, new media, and publishing. He is also President and Creative Director of The Greenhouse Arts & Media, which has mentored and impacted more than 9,500 creative artists from around the world through its programs, events, and community resources. He is a producer of the animated series The Dead Sea Squirrels and feature films Sketch, Crosspoint, and Sun Moon. A member of SAG-AFTRA, he has performed in film, theater, commercials, voiceover, and print, and also performs and records as a songwriter and multi-instrument musician. In addition to screenplays and articles, he is author of The Saints & The Poets, a series of essays on creativity and leadership. He has taught mass media and entertainment law at Creighton University, Elon University, John Paul the Great University, Asbury University, and Lipscomb University.

Shun Lee graduated summa cum laude from Creighton University with a degree in journalism & mass communications. After earning a JD at the University of Iowa, he practiced law for five years, focusing on civil litigation, corporate transactions, intellectual property, and media law, before leaving law to pursue professional acting, writing, and other creative opportunities.
